Costs are based on 1 to 1 lessons with an agreed set of goals before the commencement of the course. Online course are available on request. All printed material are included in the price of the lesson.

Proofreading and Editing:
The cost of editing and proofreading your content are calculated on a per word basis. Scientific and technical texts are costed at higher rate than non-specialized texts.
Charges:
Non-specialized text: 0.15 CHF/word
Scientific and Technical Text: 0.20 CHF/word
Video Transcription: 12 CHF/min
Delivery times are dependant on document size and workload but are always negotiable.

Richard ist ein fantastischer Lehrer und kann seine Schüler sehr gut motivieren! Auch bei Anfängern gelingt es ihm, den Unterricht so zu gestalten, dass während der Lektion praktisch nur auf Englisch gesprochen wird. Die Englischstunden mit Richard sind immer sehr spannend und den Interessen und Bedürfnissen der Schüler angepasst. Mein Sohn (13 Jahre alt) besucht seine Lektionen seit einem halben Jahr und freut sich sehr auf jede Stunde mit Richard!

I am a native English speaker from the UK, that has been living and working in Basel, Switzerland for the past 15 years. I have dual nationality (UK/CH) and raising a trinational family (UK/PL/CH), which has lead to many "interesting" and "educational" experiences that I can bring to my lessons and also help in my understanding of the problems and interests of students.
I have been proofreading and editing texts and content for more than of twelve years, and teaching for about three. Before leaving the UK, I also worked for a large international company collaborating with people from all levels of the hierachy, from CEO to shop-floor, making me an experienced business english user. I have also collaborated with Swiss companies translating online content.
I have specialist knowledge in Archaeolozoology (PhD Basel), Osteology, Anthropology and Archaeology (MSc. Osteoarchaeology Bournemouth) as well as Biology (BSc. Sussex).
